The client chose a wooded site with a significant 35-foot grade change, creating unique design and access challenges within a residential area. AHC2 immediately began work after the client secured the site, ensuring swift completion of design and construction phases. Public hearings were part of the entitlement process to gain community acceptance. AHC2 managed the project with meticulous scheduling and strategic financing, including a recommended bridge loan for land acquisition. AHC2 concurrently conducted due diligence and efficient site design to address grade change and access issues. Despite initial neighborhood resistance, AHC2 navigated through twelve design iterations to deliver a childcare facility meeting city regulations and gaining community approval. Today, the school is a valued addition to the neighborhood.
